East Ger­many’s Rose Gar­den Forst (Lusa­tia)

What makes this his­toric park an excep­tional attrac­tion is the spe­cial and per­haps unique ensem­ble of gar­den art, botan­i­cal diver­sity and land­scape archi­tec­ture.
The park was ini­tially intended for a hor­ti­cul­tural show and exhi­bi­tion of roses to mark the 25th jubilee of the coro­na­tion of Emperor William II in the year 1913.

More than 100 years later vis­i­tors can gaze at thou­sands of rose­bushes in over 900 vari­eties spread­ing across 17 hectares in  one of Ger­many’s most beau­ti­ful Parks. Artis­ti­cally designed sculp­tures, per­gola courts, roman­tic water foun­tains, art nou­veau-style gar­dens and park ele­ments resem­bling the Eng­lish land­scape style appeal to vis­i­tors and invite to stay. 
Through­out the year the his­toric park offers an enchant­ing back­drop for wed­dings, fam­ily cel­e­bra­tions, and exclu­sive busi­ness events or - alter­na­tively the ideal place for a recre­ational stroll.
