At six kilo­me­tres, the cycle route around Lake Hal­ben­dorf is only short, but it does boast a fit­ness trail with 20 sta­tions. This means that cyclists can opt for a more stren­u­ous chal­lenge as well as enjoy­ing a leisurely tour in the shade. And should the var­i­ous options on land not be enough for you, there are also wake­board­ing and water­ski­ing facil­i­ties on the lake itself. Numer­ous small rest areas along the shore­line offer plenty of space to relax and unwind.

Tip: In Lake Hal­ben­dorf you can swim with or with­out clothes. The nud­ist camp­site on the west­ern shore is the only one of its kind in the Lusa­t­ian Lake­land. The aqua park offers action, fun and games on its float­ing 1,000 square metre obsta­cle course, con­sist­ing of water slides, climb­ing walls, water tram­po­lines and a giant inflat­able water ‘ham­ster wheel’.
